The 100 per cent rosehip oil feels rich and nourishing – it certainly holds its own against some of the pricier brands in terms of texture, application and hydration. Turmeric Alpha Arbutin Kojic Soap Hand Made , Face ,Body Inner thigh, underarms ,Kojic Acid ,Glutathione 3. Unfortunately it’s harder to reverse irritation than it is to avoid it altogether – antioxidants won’t immediately reverse it so you’ll end up with inflammation regardless. Rosehip oil is also hugely beneficial in conditions such as eczema, according to Patel, as it contains vitamin E and anthocyanin which help to reduce inflammation and soothe irritation.

The darker colour in Kosmea and Akin is due to the fact that both oils are CO2 extracted, which means protected from oxygen during extraction (cold pressed oils tend to oxidise faster). So, rather than trying to compare all the different oils, we gently recommend getting informed about each one, and then just giving the ones that may help you a go. I have to admit, the actual feel of the product when you apply it to your skin isn't altogether pleasant - it's slightly sticky and even slimy. Most rose hip oils are refined using heat that destroys many of the valuable nutrients, and the resulting product is light yellow in color with a slight scent. The great thing about Kosmea rose hip oil is that it can actually be eaten which is a great way to get your daily dose of essential fatty acids. Presumably all Kosmea products must share this same rose fragrance : "Kosmea took Australia by storm in 1993 when they launched the first 100% pure certified organic rosehip oil.
